Super Simple Overnight Applesauce


So, what do you do when someone drops off a bag of fresh picked baking apples, but you have no time to bake? It’s easy. Make Overnight Applesauce.



  • 8-10 Large Baking Apples
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/8 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/8 cup Brown Rice Syrup
  • a pinch of Sea Salt


After washing, I peeled and chopped the apples into one to one and a half inch cubes. Then, combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Plug in and cook on low overnight (8 hours). You will be able to easily mash up the apple pieces with a wooden spoon. Serve warm for breakfast.
