Marbled Ornaments DIY

IMG_0488I’ve been seeing beautiful marbled ornaments online lately, and of course, I wanted to make my own. I purchased some clear ornaments and gathered up some acrylic paints.

Begin by removing the hooks from the top of the ornaments. Keep the carton they came in. Decide on a color scheme.

Drip paint through the mouth of the ornaments and let it drip down to the bottom of the ornament.

Alternate coordinating colors of paint.

Put your thumb over the mouth of the ornament and shake.

Place upside down in the carton the ornaments came in. Allow excess paint to drip out over night.

Flip rightside up and allow to dry completely.

Mine took about two days to dry. Once dry, put hangers back into the ornaments.

These make great gifts!
