I was admiring the headbands I saw at a store one day, and, as always, the thought occurred to me that it would be easy to make them. Super easy!
- Cotton jersey fabric cut into two rectangles, one 24 x 8 inches and one 5 x 5 inches
- Sewing machine
Fold the larger rectangle of fabric in half the long way, with the pattern facing in. Sew alongside the longest edge and one side of the shorter edges. Flip right side out.
Fold the tube in half and sew the two ends together to make a headband. Cut 1/4 inch from the seam and flip rightside out so that the seam is on the inside.
Fold the smaller rectangle of fabric in half and sew along the longest seam, as well as one of the shortest seams. Flip rightside out.
Wrap this new tube of fabric around the seam on the headband.
Sew along the edge of the fabric wrapped around the headband. Cut the excess fabric alongside the seam. Flip the seam to the inside of the headband. Then, wear it!
