I’m still on a ginger kick… Have you had ginger tea? It’s amazing. I love it iced too. Ginger and lavender compliment each other so beautifully… One is strong, warming, and pungent, and the other is floral, light, and beautiful. Since it looks like mayyyyyybe we won’t get any more snow for the spring, I’m in the mood for iced teas again.
- 2 inch piece of ginger, sliced thinly
- 1 Tbsp lavender flowers
Begin by bringing one cup of water to a boil. Add ginger and boil for another minute. Turn off heat.
Pour lavender into a tea infuser and place in water with ginger. Let cool.
Pour into a pitcher over ice and fill with water. Allow to infuse for one hour for a subtle flavor or overnight for a stronger flavor.
Enjoy, preferably in the sunshine.
