Five Minute Lavender Sachet DIY

IMG_5860

Lavender is one of my favorite scents. I apply my lavender-heavy  Essential Oil Bedtime Blend before bed every night. Still, I wanted my pillow to smell like lavender, so I whipped this little sachet up quickly. Super simple and so relaxing. This would be great for kid’s pillows too! Or put it in dresser drawers to keep laundry smelling fresh!

Supplies

  • Fabric- 3.5 inches by 5 inches
  • Thread
  • Needle or sewing machine
  • Half a cup of Lavender flowers

Fold the fabric in half so that the pattern is on the inside. You can fold it either direction.. One shape will be more oblong and one will be more square. Sew along two sides of the fabric so that there is only one side remaining open.

After sewing the two sides, flip the pouch pattern side out.

Pour the lavender flowers into the pouch.

Fold the raw edges of the open side of the pouch in. Sew it shut. I did a couple of passes through the machine to make sure the sachet wouldn’t break open.

Ta-da! Finished. Smell and enjoy 🙂
